How to install OrderConvo ?

OrderConvo has two version, the Free version and the Pro. Free version can be downloaded from WordPress.org here. The Pro version can be purchased from najeebmedia.com/wooconvo.

  1. Upload plugin directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. After activation, you can set options from WooCommerce -> OrderConvo

Admin Settings

The setting page can accessed from WooCommerce > OrderConvo menu like shown in the screenshot below:

Admin Orders

Admin or the Shop manager can see all the order’s messages withing this page. Messages are classified into three filters All, Unread and Starred. All messages will be displayed inside these filtered orders in the same way like this:

To send messages against any order, just click on this order and you admin will be ready to send or read messages against this order.

How Customers See Messages?

Customers can access all the messages inside My Account > Messages menu. It has similar three types of orders All, Unread and Starred.

New Messages Notice for Admin

A notice icon is displayed on top admin bar for the admins for any new message with counter. And for customers, they can also see new message notification agains each each order and all orders as well.

As the interface is same for the Admin and the customers for messages. Following screenshot shows how to send a message with attachment;

How Enable Email Notifications

  • In the PRO version of OrderConvo, email notifications can be sent with different email templates for Vendors and Customers.

  • To enable email notifications, visit the WooCommerce > Settings > Email tab.

  • In this tab, you will see two email settings: "WooConvo Vendor" and "WooConvo Customer new message received."

  • Inside the email template, you can use template variables such as:

    • {site_title}

    • {site_address}

    • {site_url}

    • {order_date}

    • {order_number}

    • {message_text}

    • {billing_first_name}

    • {billing_last_name}

  • Make sure to configure the email template for Vendor and Customer separately.

  • You can customize the email template to include the required information you want to be notify to user.

  • Once the configuration is done, the emails will be sent to the vendor or the customer when a new message is received.

  • Files can also sent as attachments in email.

General Settings

  1. Enable message count display

  2. Enable message search

  3. Enable order notices: If you want to turn off notices like order status changes and only want to show customer and admin messages then turn this on.

  4. Reverse message display order: It will reverse the message order display.

  5. Disable communication when completed: This will disable sending new message option after the order status is completed. Otherwise customer can send messages even after the order is completed.

  6. My Account Tab Label: Set label text for customers inside My Account.

Attachments PRO

  1. Enable Attachment

  2. Max files allowed (e.g 2)

  3. Max file size (e.g 300 for 300kb)

  4. File types allowed (e.g jpg,jpeg,png etc)

  5. Restricted file types: It is to secure your site from dangerous files uploads.

  6. Flie thumb size: Image thumbs preview whech attached in new message.

  7. Attachments are required: If you want every message must have an attachment then turn it on.

Design

  1. Inside this settings, you can set colors of different areas of frontend.

Addons Settings

Addons settings will be displayed inside Addons Settings Tabs. Currently OrderConvo has following Addons.

Revisions Add-on

  • You can restrict customers to send messages upto a fixed number of revisions. And a revision note can also be set by admin to show to the users.

  • A beautiful message counter will be displayed showing user the limit of messages.

AWS S3 Add-on
