"Free POS software" usually means one of three things: a trial that ends, a free tier too small to run a real counter, or an app that pays for itself with ads and your data. Till9's Free plan is none of those, so this post spells out exactly what it includes, where the limits are, and when a shop outgrows it.
Everything a single-counter shop needs to sell every day, with no time limit and no card:
| Free | Economy (PKR 20,000 once) | Business (PKR 35,000 a year) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| PCs | 1 | 1 | 3 |
| Users | 1 | 3 | 10 |
| Products | 100 | 2,000 | Unlimited |
| Sales a day | 50 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Customers | 100 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Reports | Last 7 days | Any range, export, print | Any range, export, print |
| Stock counts, barcode labels, loyalty, groups | No | Yes | Yes |
| Cloud backup | No | No | Yes |
The first 14 days after install open every feature, so you can print labels, run a stock count and export a report before deciding whether you need them. After that the app simply drops to the Free caps; nothing is deleted and nothing stops.
A small kiryana, a stall, a home bakery, a one-person mobile accessories shop: fewer than 100 items, under 50 bills a day, one cashier. You get proper receipts, stock you can trust and a daily total, for nothing.
The first wall most shops hit is the product cap. A medium kiryana carries 400 to 800 lines; a pharmacy more. The second is the 50-sales-a-day cap on a busy Saturday. At that point Economy, PKR 20,000 paid once, removes both caps and adds the back office: full reports, CSV export, stock counts, label printing, loyalty points and customer groups. If you have more than one counter, or want an encrypted copy of your database kept off-site every day, Business adds three PCs and cloud backup.
